More good news and bad news...

Okay, good news first this time. WE GOT OUR HOME STUDY APPROVED!!! *doing happy dance* What does that mean now...we throw a search party! Seriously, that means we can now be placed with children. We let others know that if there infants in need of home, refer them. We have had our registries online for a while now, so you can view them at here or there.

Other good news! We had a great time in the mountains in Georgia with Kimberly's side of the family. We sure did surprise Nana when Jack and I showed up! Can you imagine having 19 people in a 4 bedroom cabin, for 4 days? And on top of that, snow! How cool was that to watch the kids enjoy it, as well as my sister-in-law and her first time seeing snow! We'll post a few pictures sometime this week.

And now for the bad news. The FM station has been sold and its last airdate is February 14th, just over a week after the AM station turns off its signal. It will be a sad day. I can't say this about any other job I held, but I truly truly loved working there. It definitely helped me in my faith walk!

Thank you God for this day, thank you for our families and friends, thank you for your continued seeking of us, yet we don't deserve anything you give us. Thank you for the freedom we have in you all because you cared so much for us before time came to be and sent your son Jesus, the ultimate sacrifice, so that we can live eternally with you, in Jesus' name, AMEN!

Good news and bad news

Bad news, our AM station at work was confirmed sold last week. We don't know yet about our FM station. Don't know what else that means for me, except that God has His plans, and we must choose to do His will. I can share that I have been laid twice before at other jobs and good life-changing things happen!

Okay, good news. What's five more seconds when some of you have been waiting to hear from us for about a month now.

We got our rough draft of the adoption home study report in the mail over the weekend. As most of you know, this is our final piece of paper we have been waiting approval on before children can be placed with us. Now you also know I would rip that envelope open and read that thing as if the world stopped for me to do so! LOL. So Jack and I have read over it, made corrections, and are turning it back in to our social worker, hopefully today (ahem, Jack ;).
