Wow, busy couple of weeks!
Okay.
It's amazing with unemployment, how busy one can be! I sit here and realize I have been out of the corporate world now for over two months. Some would say, wow, not good...others might ask how I could survive on so little. This comes down to faith. An acronym I found for it: Forsaking All, I Trust Him. That's it, period. There are so many questions you could ask me, I would just repeat my answer of "Faith in God, the Almighty Provider". This is also applied to our adoption. Some wonder how sure are we that a birth family will not take their child/ren back after they are placed with us. FAITH.
One of my favorite verses is, "For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" - 2 Cor. 4:18b NIV. Think about those words you said that hurt someone, the wounds aren't seen, but those words are eternal to them, can't take them back. Just as the wounds on Jesus were visible to those who saw them, his body was temporarily on earth, so that he would be risen from the dead, unseen to us, but reigning with the Father eternally in heaven. We have faith that we will seem in heaven and praise to no end just as we did in Atlanta last weekend! WOW is all I can say. Having over 9500 attendees just lifting their hands with selflessness, praising their one and only Abba Father for all He has done for them and will do. I was able to sit in on the last session Saturday night in the volunteer seating area. Without any inhibitions, I praised my creator with all I had, including tears. You see, I looked out over the arena and was amazed at the mass before me, 90% with both hands in the air, eyes closed, singing to their Father, enveloped in total worship. I cried because that is what heaven will be for those of us who meet up there. I pray that any of you reading this I see there. They say some of the hardest people to pray for are the ones you love the most. God is changing me, I hope to make me more like Him. I pray He changes you, too; all of you! He has such unconditional love for all of His creation, he even loves the ant you just stepped on.
Wow, jumping all over for a moment there. As for Atlanta, I truly enjoyed EVERY minute there. With being up on my feet for 15 hours both days, to a snoring roommate, or the trip to Wal-Mart at midnight. I especially loved having the moment with my 3 princesses of Georgia playing softball with just me in the warm sunshine. Helping A with holding the plastic bat, to chasing M down towards home plate and me falling over into a tumble, to having KK simply come out of her shell and join us, and last but not least, the dog poop I stepped in. That was a riot in itself AFTER I left their house, only to smell it down the block, while my sister was driving and says to sniff it, she says my face was priceless. *EW* Needless to say, we pulled over and I changed the shoes out before getting on an airplane, could you imagine?! The princesses are learning at such a fast pace I stand amazed. They are 3, 5, and 7. I truly miss them as well as my other nieces and nephew in Florida with the many miles between us! PS - Happy 3rd Birthday sweet Angel, we love you!
So back to the first subject, employment. I am going to work with a staffing service and find full-time temporary work. My faith and all my being tells me that we will have child/ren this year. I, being the loyal person I am to any employer, do not want to put them through training me, getting comfortable with me, only to lose me because my dream came true, mommyhood. What would you do?
I am humbled right now. That I choose to follow a God who loves each and every one of us so much, that He wants me to "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7. Isn't faith to be simple? Forsaking All, I Trust Him. Thank you Jesus!

Something cute!
I regularly read more than I post on an adoption agency's discussion forum. It is such a great support system for all of those in the adoption triad. Today, I found this link and thought it was cute, check it out!
My BirthVerse:
1 Peter 2:24 NIV
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
This reminds me of the scene in Passion of Christ when Jesus is on the cross, his body beyond recognition as that of a human being. He did it ALL for US! Amen!
Please continue to pray for Jack and I. We truly have narrowed down our adoption assistance. Pray for all the expecting families out there making some difficult decisions right now, that we can return paperwork promptly, get our profile done rather quickly, and employment opportunities for me in the meantime. Thanks everyone for your support!
Also, I will be in Atlanta this coming weekend. I am sooooooo excited to see my sister again!!! More excited volunteering again for Passion, an awesome ministry! So pray for everyone involved in this event, safe travels for all, hearts to be changed, minds to be opened, Holy Spirit moves within the event, and truly that God be given all the glory.
Till next time!
